Diving MAX

Here is a black spiny urchin found off the coast of Negril Jamaica on a morning snorkel trip on the west end cliffs. This is in about 15 feet of water and withing 50 feet of the shoreline of Heartbeat Resort in Negril.

A juvenile moray eel sticks his neck out of the rocks for a look see. There are many moray in Jamaica but they seem rather harmless unless of course you stick your arm in a hole and one bites you. Then you got problems galore.

I took this picture under a clump of rocks just off the cliffs here in Negril. I was diving of Heartbeat Resort in Negril Jamaica when I saw this pair of shrimp under a rock ledge. I actually took the picture upside down and flipped it with Picasa so every one can see it properly.

Growing up in the Florida Keys I used to have these in my fish tank at home. I caught them near the bridge at Boca Chica and kept them in buckets till I got them home.
